2 Corinthians 12 vs. 9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
These are my writings, my record and testimony. This is my life, what is both past and present. From depression and being broken hearted, to facing my past and regaining control of my life and my struggles:
My failures and shortcomings, battles, wrestles, addictions and hopelessness – but most importantly my victories and triumphs in Jesus Christ.
I give God all the glory.
I write with no shame, openly — with the freedom, strength and power Christ has given me. I write the word I myself need to hear and meditate on, and it is that word I share hear, often the word spoken in the eye of the storm.
It is my firm belief, that the full glory of God is revealed in our weakness and testimonies.
My naked past and present is here revealed in the hope that others may find strength and be encouraged. My shame was nailed to the cross with Jesus Christ and all I have is now rested in Him alone.
He is the God of all comfort.
Who I am is not dependent on what people think about me – It is not to be weighed by any physical measure or marked against the standards of this world. When all is stripped back; who I am, and all that I am, is in Jesus the hope and glory.
We can overcome all our trials, because the God who has called us has a plan for our lives, one far above what we can imagine.
He is the God of restoration and providence.
I pray I may decrease so the Lord may increase, for His glory is made all the more perfect in my weakness.
Be encouraged and know you are loved, adored, and beautifully and have been wonderfully made.
